Asphalt & Recycled Material
Asphalt Production & Recycled Material
We own and operate two asphalt production facilities in Pierce County. Each is capable of producing over 450 tons per hour, making us one of the largest producers of asphalt in the region. In addition to creating asphalt for our construction projects, we provide asphalt for municipal maintenance departments and other civil contractors.
As industry leaders in asphalt production, we have the technical expertise to produce asphalt for a wide-variety of projects. Our asphalt materials can be designed and installed for airports, highways, porous pavement sections, impermeable pavement sections, temporary roadway patches and lightweight bridge deck applications.
We also lead the way in asphalt and concrete recycling. We process old concrete and asphalt at our McChord facility to produce over 100,000 tons of recycled base course, recycled top course and recycled asphalt product (RAP) per year. We use these high-quality recycled construction materials on our own projects and market it to the greater construction community.
